Project details
At the back of our playing field we have a one acre rewilding space where our grounds maintenance team do not mow. We have a bramble patch and we're trying to let our wild flowers self seed etc. We're teaching children about letting nature take over and observing the sapce carefully. We'd like to become a beacon school in the area for rewilding. We're hoping to set up a network of schools this year to share ideas and actions for the benefit of climate and nature. Additionally, I'd like to restore our school pond (we might need adult volunteers for this).
